Within the framework of the strengthful relationship between Iraq and Egypt, Eng. Mahlab met with an Iraqi delegation headed by Eng. Naeem Aboub, the Deputy Mayor of Baghdad who visits Cairo to acknowledge AC activities and discuss the cooperation opportunities in many future projects. After visiting different projects such as: Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Sidi Gaber station, Eastern Purification Plant in Alexandria, Ain Shams Wastewater and Contract 19 in Al Gabl Al Asfar; the delegation praised the company potentials in the different fields: infrastructure, water and wastewater and power. The aforementioned fields will be the cooperation project between the two countries in the future. The first project between Iraq and Egypt is the development of the Army Canal (Qanat Al-Jaish), which will be inaugurated at the end of this year, with a total value 146 million US$.
