His Highness Prince Abdul Aziz bin Majed bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, governor of Medina Monoura praised in his meeting with the Egyptian businessmen delegation headed by Eng. Mahlab, the president & CEO of the Arab Contractors company, the historical and friendship strengthful relationship between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in all fields.
Eng. Mahlab stated that Prince Abdul Aziz praised the executed project of the intersection of the ring road in the central surrounding area around the Prophet Mosque; the inauguration of the 1st phase will be in the next year. The inauguration of the 2nd and last phase will be on 2014.
The total value of this project is 470 million SR; the AC will execute the whole project (roads, bridges, flyover and tunnels) and serving the Prophet Mosque surroundings because it separates the pedestrians from the car traffic which secure the visitors and hajjes walkways and facilitate the traffic flow.
Eng. Mahlab discuss during the meeting the possibility of increasing AC investment in Saudi Arabia and benefit from its experience (AC working in 23 countries) in the infrastructure field such as: roads, bridges, flyovers, tunnels, power and factories' construction and installation.
Besides, discussing the important role of the Saudi-Egyptian Businessmen Association to support and increase the co-investment opportunities.
On the other hand Eng. Mahlab met with the head of the Saudi-Egyptian Businessmen Association on the occasion of the graduation of Saudi engineers from the AC's Technology Institute of Construction Engineering and Management.
