Discussion between The Arab Contractors and British Institutions about Vocational Training Cooperation during the visit of the Lord Mayor of the City of London to Egypt

Eng.Ibrahim Mahlab - President & CEO of the Arab Contractors Co., met  the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Michael Bear, during the conference organized by the British-Egyptian Business Association which was held on Wednesday, 5th October  at the British embassy in Cairo in the presence of a senior British business delegation.
Michael Bear pointed that Egypt and the UK had shared strong links and he hoped his visit would help strengthen this partnership to support the goals of economic growth, and infrastructure development in Egypt to accompany the new Political change.
Eng. Mahlab affirmed that  Development cooperation between UK and Egypt would focus on the priority areas such as the vocational and technical training which may be a lifeline for the unemployment problem and can also meet the real needs of labor market of such trained cadres.
Additionaly, Eng. Mahlab announced that the company, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education,  had already begun to develop 6 Industrial secondary schools comprising Nasr City Industrial School,  Architectural secondary School for Peace , Heavy equipment School in Ismailia, Shatby Mechanical secondary School, Assiut Mechanical School, Abu Rawash Mechanical secondary School (heavy equipment ).
Finally, Eng. Mahlab invited British Institutions that have a wealth of expertise to assess these models aiming to expand this experience more aggressively into other Egyptian Industrial schools in the near future.
