S.A.E. for Solid Waste Recycling

Eng. Maged George – the State Minister for the Environmental Affairs, Dr. Abdel Qawi Khalifa – Cairo Governor, Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – President & CEO of the AC company and Mr. Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy - Chairman of Ramky Group specialized in the environmental works hold a meeting in the head office of the Environment Ministry in Al Fostat to discuss the waste recycling and elevating the level of clearing the streets. During this meeting they activated the executive procedures for the establishment of Egyptian joint stock company “S.A.E.” formed by the Arab Contractors Company, Ramky Indian Group and the National Investment Bank. It will be as a preparation to launch a national company supported with the Indian experience to work in the solid waste recycling in the southern area of Cairo governorate – which will be the starting point, then generalizing it to include all the Egyptian governorates.
Thus, Ramky Group presented a slideshow about their activity and dispersion in India, Gulf countries such as: Oman, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. Besides, the group presented the suggested plan for the collecting work from the residential, commercial, industrial districts; cleaning the streets; the required tools and equipment for collecting and transporting either for the handling terminal in El Basateen or the sanitary landfilling in 15th May City.
