The Arab Contractors Co. has been contract awarded the construction of a new road linking Ethiopia and Kenya, with total investment 54 million US$. The agreement signed in the presence of a number of the responsibles in the Ethiopian Government and the Arab African Bank.
Eng. Ahmed Moustafa, Ethiopia Branch Manager stated that the new road is connecting Hagere Mariam (South Ethiopia) and Yabelo city on Kenya road.
It is noteworthy that this project is the first signed contract to the Arab Contractors Co. after 25th January revolution. Besides, it will strengthen the Egyptian-Ethiopian relationship and the support the relation among the River Nile basin countries especially concerning the potable water case.
