AC and OCI Form Joint Venture to Bid on Nuclear Power Projects in Egypt and the Middle East

The Arab Contractors (AC) formed a joint venture with Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) to bid on nuclear power projects in Egypt and the Middle East. This strategic joint venture based on the fact that several countries in the region have announced their intentions to initiate nuclear power plants.
Both companies are ready to cooperate with international companies specialized in nuclear power to discuss the possibilities for having strategic joint ventures related to this project.
Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab - President and CEO of the Arab Contractors Co. asserted the necessity to focus on the local component in this important national project.
OCI Construction Group Managing Director, Osama Bishai said that this joint venture will combine the engineering, technical and human resources capabilities in both companies create a leading regional consortium qualified to bid on this kind of projects.
It is noteworthy that both companies have their strong force in the targeted markets in this field.
