On Tuesday 20th April 2010, Mr. Qadri Abu Hussein – Helwan Governor and Eng. Mohammed Adel Fathi - Vice President, Manager of the General Department for Technical and Execution Affairs lays foundation stone for the headquarter of Helwan Governorate. In the presence; Eng. Osman El Shemi – Board Member, Eng. Hassan El Far – Helwan Branch Manager , some of the People’s Assembly and Shoura Council members, public and executive leaders in Helwan. Helwan Governor praised AC efforts headed by Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab - President and CEO of the AC. Eng. Hassan El Far stated that the assumed project cost is EGP 45 million, execution period is 20 months and its total area is 20000m². The project built on 2455m² including: 761m² a multi-purpose hall, 9680m² open areas and 6880m² green areas. 2800m² parking accommodates 50 cars. Besides; the storehouses, 2080m² vertical communication components (ladders, electrical rooms), and 410m² services area within the floors. The architectural design is putting into consideration to facilitate access to the building and its different departments. Besides, the building reflects the governorate recent development and its unique architectural design.
