On Wednesday 10th March 2010, The housing committee in the People’s Assembly and Helwan Governor touring Atfeeh and Al-Saff Potable Water Stations which serving 44 villages and more than 700.000 person. It will be inaugurated on the coming June. In the presence of Mr. Qadry Abu Hussein – Helwan Governor, Eng. Hassan Khalid – Head of the National Potable Water and Sanitation Authority and Eng. Osman Al Sheemy – the Board Member. Eng. Hassan Al-Far – Helwan Branch Manager stated that the branch is executing water and wastewater projects in in Helwan governorate worth EGP 1.3 billion according to the governmental development plan and President Mubarak electoral program. Eng. Ahmed Abbass - the Deputy Branch Manager stressed that the work in both projects going on in full swing after the compression of the time schedule to optimize them during this year. The completion rate has reached 96%, the testing and operation done successfully under the supervision of the Holding Company for Potable Water.
