On Thursday 2nd August 2009, President Mubarak inaugurated Rosseta Waste Water Plant in El Behira with a capacity of 20,000 m³/day and Khorshid Waste Water Treatment Plant in El Zwaida with a capacity of 15,000 m³/day. In the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif, ministers of defense – housing – irrigation - health – culture - local development - economic development and electricity, El Behira Governor, Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab - President and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Hassan Khaled – Chairman of the National Authority for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage, AC Vice-Presidents: engineers Nouh Meshref, Osama Shawky and Mohamed Adel Fathi and Eng. Mohammed Tawfic - Board Member.
