On Wednesday 21st January 2009, Eng.Ibrahim Mahlab - President and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company and Eng. Hassan Khaled - National Authority for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage signed the contract of the execution of 10th of Ramadan water station and turbid water intakes and pumps, its total capacity is 660.000 m3/day with a total value EGP 1.8 million. Dr. Ahmed Nazif - Prime Minister and Eng. Ahmed El Maghrabi – Minister of Housing, Utilities & Urban Development witness this event. In the presence of Eng. Nouh Meshref - Vice President. Besides, Eng. Mohsen Salah - Head of Canal and Suez Sector and Eng. Tohamy Hamad - Head of Sector and Canal Branch Manager stated that the Canal branch has been awarded 5 contracts; with a total value EGP 2.2 billion (including the previously mentioned two projects).
