On Thursday 23rd October 2008, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif and Tunisian Housing Minister during their inspecting visit to Radis-Halq Al Wadi Bridge Project in Tunis executed by the Arab Contractors Company, with a total value US$ 35 million. In the presence of Egyptian-Tunisian High Committee members and Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab - Chairman and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company. Eng. Eng. Atef El-Bolok Head of Tunisian sector stated that the project includes designing and executing 2 bridges, 394m overland and 179m above the canal. Bridges built upon piles 26m depth and pre-stressed & pre-casted concrete beams. Besides; 2200m roadways built upon soft soil which requiring special treatment.
