On Wednesday 15th October 2008, President Mubarak inaugurated Gabl Shisha Potable Water Station with total capacity 68000 m3/day. Eng. Ahmed El Maghrabi – Minister of Housing, Utilities & Urban Development explained the executed works and praising the Arab Contractors Company's challanging spirit in executing the station in record time of 15 months only. Besides; President Mubarak inaugurated Al-Alaqy Wastewater Station (40000 m3/day)through video conference. In the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif, General Mohammed Hussein Tantawi - Minister of Defence and Military Production, Dr. Hassan Younis – Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Osman Mohammed Osman – Minister of Economic Development, Eng. Mohammed Mansour - Minister of Transport, General Mohammed Abdul Salam Al Mahgoub - Minister of State for Local Development, General Moustafa El Sayed - Governor of Aswan, Eng.
