On the 3rd of January 2007, Dr. Ahmad Nazef-Egyptian Prime Minister accompanied by Dr. Tarek kamel-Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Abdel Salam Mahgoub-Minister of Local Development, Eng. Ahmed Darwish-Minister of Administrative Development, Dr. Abdel Azim Wazer-Cairo Governor inaugurated the Waste Water Pumping Station in the Investment Area in Katameya with a startup capacity of 20,000 m3/day that will reach in its final stage 100,000 m3/day in the presence of Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Chairman of the AC and AC Board members.
Declared that the station is serving the Investment Area in Katameya including the (Residential-Educational-Industrial-Commercial) districts.
