Hussein Al Harmeil- Chairman of Damietta Port Authority sets the cornerstone for Damietta Port Container Terminal to serve the 5th and 6th generation of ships. The Arab Contractors company awarded this contract with a total value $219 (about billion and a quarter billion EGP) in the attendance of Eng. Nouh Meshref- the Vice President. It is noteworthy that the project is one of the largest projects implemented by the company currently, after its completion the company will be ranked internationally. The project scope of work is build berth with 2300M length using concrete wall system reach 40 ML depth for the purpose of receiving giant container vessels.
