Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif inaugurated 13 new projects in Damietta

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif inaugurated 13 new projects in Damietta Within the framework of implementing President Mubarak's directives, including 4 of the Arab Contractors projects. He started his tour with opening the new fish market stretching eastward outside the city's residential area and set up over a 4,000 square meter area. Previously a pollution hotbed, the new compound comprises 202 shops, including 120 for whole-sale. The project cost L.E. 30 million and houses an ice-making factory, a mosque, an administrative building, a bank, coolers and restaurants. Also announced the take off of the Damietta old bridge transportation project, where the old bridge will be moved from its current location to another one parallel to the Nile Bank in front of Suzan Mubarak New library, afterwards the middle part will be converted into an open museum. Afterwards he inaugurated the rehabilitation project of Ras Al-Baar lighthouse area and announced the take off a New Hotel that's expected to cost more than 80 million EGP. Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab Chairman of the AC and Board Members received him and accompanied him during the Ceremony.
