Prime Minister Mr. A. Nazif inaugurated the Opera Square pedestrian tunnel which is a part of the Opera Square development project that aims to minimize traffic jams while providing safe pathways for citizens in that vital square, downtown Cairo.
The inauguration was on the 17th of September 2006 in the presence of many governmental officials such as Mr. A. Al Maghrabi Minister of Housing and Urban Devolopment, Mr. F. Housni Minister of Culture, Mr. A. Mahgoub Minister of Planning and Local Development, Mr. Abdel Azem Wazer the Cairo Governor and Mr. Mahlab Chairman of the AC.
