Eng. Elsayed Al Wazer has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2023. Since then, he has played a pivotal strategic role in strengthening the company’s presence, driving business development, and expanding services across the Middle East and Africa. Under his leadership, The Arab Contractors has achieved strong financial performance, particularly in the countries under his direct supervision, including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Bahrain, Lebanon, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania.

With nearly 28 years of extensive professional experience, Eng. Al Wazer has been instrumental in construction, project planning, and management of major infrastructure developments. His expertise spans bridges, foundations, tunnels, roads, hospitals, and civil facilities, contributing to numerous landmark projects across the Middle East and Africa, particularly in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Eng. Al Wazer has led and contributed to several national infrastructure projects, including:
• El-Mounib Bridge over the Nile River
• 26th of July Axis
• South Dahshour Bridge
• El Thawra Tunnel
• Cairo Metro projects
• High-Speed Rail (HSR)
• 6th of October Monorail


In Saudi Arabia
He has played a key role in delivering major infrastructure projects, such as:
• Jamaraat Bridge
• Bridges and facilities at Jeddah International Airport
• King Faisal Specialist Hospital
• Expansion of the Grand Mosque (“Al Haram Al Makki”) and surrounding areas

Leadership & Board Roles:
Before assuming his current position, Eng. Al Wazer served as a Board Member of The Arab Contractors from April 2023 to August 2024.
He is also a Board Member of:
• Al Nahda Cement Company (since August 2023)
• Suez Canal Life Insurance Company (since August 2023)
• SAIB Bank (since March 2025)

Supervisory Roles:
Eng. Al Wazer is an active member of the Supervisory Board for several strategic projects, including:
• Cairo Metro Line 4 (Arab Contractors, Hassan Allam, Petrojet, and Concorde)
• High-Speed Rail (HSR) (Arab Contractors, Orascom, and Siemens)
• Cairo Metro Line 3 (Arab Contractors, Orascom, Vinci, and Bouygues)
• Light Rail Transit (LRT)
• 6th of October Monorail (Arab Contractors, Orascom, and Alstom)

Membership:
• Member of Egyptian Engineers Syndicate
• Member of Saudi Council of Engineers
