Major General Albert Murasira - Rwandan Minister of Defence received Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Alfred Jacoba Kalisa - Ambassador of Rwanda to Cairo during the visit of the Rwandan Minister to Cairo to attend Egypt Defence Expo - EDEX 2021. During the meeting, the Rwandan Minister praised the relation between Egypt and Rwanda which witnessed recent exchanges of visits and meetings between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and President Paul Kagame to promote greater cooperation between the two countries.
Rwandan Minister of Defence praised the role of the Arab Contractors Company in many African countries, including Rwanda, that it has implemented the building of the Rwandan Ministry of Defence. The Minister of Rwanda called on the company to implement a number of service building projects for the Rwandan Ministry of Defence.
The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying the Minister of Rwanda, members of the embassy, Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – AC Board Member and Eng. Amani Khodeir - Head of Sector & Head of Follow Up Department for Africa Projects.
It is a noteworthy that the Rwandan Arab Contractors Company was founded in 1999 and implemented the Ministry of Defence’s building in Kigali. The project has a total area of 43,000 m2. This building consists of a basement, ground floor and 3 typical floors (7200m for each floor).it is equipped with all the advanced systems.
