Minister of Public Business Sector discusses with the Gabonese President ways of promoting joint cooperation

Within the framework of his visit to Gabon, Hisham Tawfik - Minister of Public Business Sector met with Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba to discuss ways of promoting and strengthening joint cooperation in the economic and commercial fields. The meeting was in the presence of Ahmed Bakr – Egyptian Ambassador to Gabon, Dr. Hassan Abdel Maguid – Vice Chairman of the National Authority for the Military Production, Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company. The meeting dealt with ways to enhance and advance cooperation relations between Egypt and Gabon, and the potential investment and commercial partnership opportunities in various fields, foremost among which are wood, mining, agriculture and infrastructure, especially road construction, and the results of the Egyptian delegation's visit to Gabon were also reviewed. The meeting discussed ways of enhancing and boosting cooperation relations between Egypt and Gabon, possible investment and commercial partnership opportunities in varied areas mainly in timber, mining, agriculture and infrastructure especially in road construction, besides the exploration of the results of the Egyptian delegation's visit to Gabon. The Minister emphasized on Egypt’s concern to strengthen the relationship with Gabon through the use of the available cooperation opportunities to serve the interests of both countries and meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. On the other hand the delegation met with the Prime Minister of Gabon Julien Nkoghe Bekale to discuss the available areas of cooperation to serve the interests of both countries and explore investment opportunities especially in the sectors of timber, agriculture, mineral wealth and infrastructure. This was in the presence of Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – Head of Africa Sector, Mr. Emad Ebeid – the Financial Supervisor for Africa Sector, Eng. Amany Khodeir – Manager of Technical Follow Up for Africa Sector in the Arab Contractors Company.
