Mr. Galal El-Zorba
Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries
MR. EL-ZORBA is the Chairman of Nile Holding Company, he
serves on the Board of several corporations in the textile, investment, consulting,
information technology and other fields.
Before moving to Egypt in 1989, he was the President of World Trading Inc. Los Angeles
California, USA, active in trading between USA and Asia, as well as the President
of American Secured Investment, active in Real Estate development and management.
He was also the CFO of Libya Insurance Co. Tripoli, Libya [1968 – 1971] before moving
to USA.
After receiving his BA with in Business Administration from the University of Alexandria,
in 1965, Mr. El-Zorba started his career working with Eastern Cotton Co. in Alexandria
– Egypt.
He chairs the Federation of Egyptian Industries, the Egyptian Exporters Association
[Expolink] and the US – Egyptian Business Council. Mr. El-Zorba is also a Board
Member of the International Board of the Council on Foreign Relation in the USA,
the Egyptian International Economic Forum, and the Future Generation Foundation.
MR. EL-ZORBA was born and raised in Alexandria, married with two sons. |
