[HSE] Management is an integral and essential part of the way we conduct our business
and needs to be considered as part of the wider system for management of the business
.
Many of the features of effective health , safety and environment management are
indistinguishable from the sound management practices advocated by the proponents
of quality and business excellence.
The philosophy of Arab Contractors
Co. is that through effective management , employment , and contracting process
we aim to be the preferred contractor and the favored employer . Successful management
of HSE issued is therefore of prime importance in all aspects of our business activities.

performed series of seminars and workshops to raise awareness among various levels.
Furthermore it published a series of environmental directives and guide lines.

The Arab Contractors Environmental Policy
AC takes a close and responsible
interest in enhancing the quality of the environment. The company recognizes and
respects the physical, economic and social environments of all the communities in
which it operates. Environmental issues are considered at every stage of the business
process in consultation with our partners in order to develop progressive improvements
in our environmental performance. AC follows an environmental action plan which
complies with the legal requirements to improve the environmental management and
performance.
Our
Environmental Concerns and Action Plan
- AC has an approved environmental policy and attained the first
ISO 14000 certificate in the construction industry field
- Arab Contractors is converting its Gasoline fuel transportation
fleet to dual fuel (Compressed Natural Gas / Gasoline)
- Arab Contractors is applying a Fuel /Oil Purification system
that led us to extend the oil interval change which reduces the quantity of oil
rejected and extend the engine life time. Also by checking our equipment lubricating
oil conditions in a routine way, either by field or laboratory inspection, to define
the actual oil intervals rate by this process, which led to reduce wasted polluted
lubricated oil by 76%

Arab Contractors Asphalt and Concrete
Batch Plants are equipped with environmental filters to minimize air pollution.
- In order to share in protecting and cleaning our environment,
the Arab Contractors has adopted a new policy to join Solid Waste Management Projects
tenders, and already contracts are awarded to the company in Northern Cairo, and
Zagazig city.
