Tunneling Works : 
Tunneling is the best solution to overcome problems of Open cut excavation in the crowded and heavy traffic areas and also deal with lots of underground utilities. Tunneling designed to   work in deep areas below the underground water level to avoid   the risk of dewatering which affects the surrounding buildings. 
    
All tunneling activities are controlled automatically from the control unit beside the cutting head or the cabinet on top of the   ground level. The ( AC-Tunnels and Slip Forms Department )   has Tunneling & Micro-tunneling machines 500, 600, 700,   1000, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2200, 2500 and 3200 mm diameter,   which was used successfully in several projects all over Egypt.


** Types of Shafts according to Construction Methods : 
We have the experience to construct shaft by different  methods as follows :- 

     1- PreCast Segmental Shafts: construction by sinking



     2- Cast in Situ Caissons: construction by sinking 


      3- Construction of Shafts in Rock
              - Stand Stone under water using caisson

           


              - Hard rock without caisson
           


      4- Diaphragm Wall
              - in rectagular shape

           


            - in polygon shape          
   


      5- Sheet piles construction pits
